I have a question. If someone know how to quote with a direct access to the post, please tell me. I have seen those posts with quote that have a li'l white square with a black arrow in it, and when you click there, you are redirected to the quoted post. That is what I wanna know. I looked in the posting faqs but didn't find anything, so I'm asking here.
I have also noticed quotes with numbers after the name. Something like this:
Answer please!!!

What are you exactly looking for the little black arrow? From what I have seen is that it indicates a post count only from what I have seen .... not a member post count, but the actual posting # on the site.
When I look at all those posts its only showing me a post count now .... give me a link that shows one of those icon squares. It might be a glitch on the site because its not in all Quote's ... I will look into it a little further.

Once I clicked in the little black arrow in the little white square box next to the name of the original poster and it redirected me to the quoted post.
And that's useful, for example, when you want to quote posts that are in another thread. You just click in the white box-black arrow and you are redirected there to know the relation between the threads.

I thought you used to be able to do it when you clicked on the quote icon in the members post. I think when the forum was updated it changed.

It probably was changed with the forum update, assuming it was a third-party "hack". The way it worked was just QUOTE=<user>;<postnumber> in the quote tag. It was done autmatically if you clicked quote.

Yeah, i think so. but no anymore.
i thought it had something to do with the forums update, cuz now lost of posts have that number next to the name.
now you confirmed it. let's wait and see if they add that again later.
