Warnings?

I've had a 10% warning for well over a month now (maybe even 2), and I have a couple of question regarding said warning:

First, I don't even know why I got a warning. (You know, if you're gonna give people a warning level, it would be helpful to tell them what they did to deserve it. PM's work PERFECT for this!)

Second, how long is it supposed to last? If I'm not going around doing stuff that warrants more warnings (i.e. behaving), shouldn't the warning go down?

"Unecessary post" is a little vague, dontcha think? Was it because the post was spam or because I said "Anus"?
