View Full Version : Codebreaker Update?

I looked through the rest of the forum to see if this problem has already been addressed, but I couldn't find anything about it. I have owned three different versions of Codebreaker. I can't recall which version the first one was, but the second and third were 9.0 and 9.1 . Each time I updated to the newer version, all of the codes that I had manually entered were no longer there. Which, is rather frustrating. Especially, since Metal Gear Solid 3 is one of the main games that I play. (I'm sure you've all seen the Enable Code for that game.. Enough said..) I was wondering if there was something that I might have overlooked, or if there is just no way of keeping your manually entered codes when updating to a newer version. Any help or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

The reason is because your Codebreaker file is being overwritten. I don't remember exactly, but there should be an option to overwrite it or not. If it's available, choose No.

Codes are easy enough to re-enter, especially if you use the Day1 feature.

Yeah. I've heard alot about the Day 1 feature. I've even thought about getting the device to use it. But, I haven't seen it anywhere. I've checked places such as Wal-Mart and random gaming stores. But, none of them seem to have it. Do you know the names of any nationwide stores that may have it? And, thank you very much for the information about the updates.

Heres a post about some of the compatable drives. I picked up my Lexar Jump Drive 128mb at Wal-Mart but I had to search for it for around $25. Hope this helps. http://forums.cmgsccc.com/showthread.php?t=278&highlight=compatible+drive :)
