Sig problem

I'm having a bit of trouble putting my sig up. I get a message telling me "could not find phrase 'signaturetoobig'." I don't see how that's possible.The signature I'm trying to use isn't all that big. Here it is:

Is there a certain amount of posts I'm suppose to have before I can use a sig, or is it something else?

I think it's because I was gonna post a sig of me shaving my armpits. they are to big. if I find out, I'll let you know.

400x400 no larger that 150KB are the limitations for sigs on the site .... for all members including staff if that was the image you were going to use.

The Specs: 452x102 pixels & 14081 bytes
Solution: trim/resize it down a little make it 400x102

yeah i tried to add something smaller than the one i have now and it says the error message

It shows the same 'signaturetoobig' thing when I hit preview or delete everything except that image in my sig and hit preview. Another member said the angel image does the same thing when they preview it in their UCP. No such probs with my McLaren sig component.

Are you trying to change add an additional sig to what you already have? Or are you trying to delete one and add another?

Just wanted to change the song clip that the image linked to and found the error message, but as I said *the image itself* seems to be causing the problem (with both me and another user). Tried changing image format from png to jpg, didn't help.

Also, a few weeks ago there would be a brief flash of a white error page with black text displayed when either previewing or changing my sig. Don't recall what that error was. :(

Ok send me the song and could you send me your Sig also in a PM I am testing so I can find out the ends and outs for sigs right now. To try and find out what the problem might be.



--Ok there is a problem after 1 hour worth of testing the sig system still didn't work correctly ... I will see what we can do to fix it.--

- Ok about the sigs the previous maximum size was set at 400x100 ... now it is 400x200.
- Width now is 400
- Hieght now is 200
- Size still 150KB

so as long as your sig is within those limits then it will work.

Upload the pic onto the internet ( try via photobucket), then go to User cp up there on the menu bar, go to edit signature then click the little picture that looks like a sun and mountain post the url in there and bam sig :)

Well you're already on photobucket.com use the resize options of photobucket because the picture is just a little big because it's 330x207 .... the 207(should be 200 or less) part may cause you to get the "signaturetoobig" message. Then the "Gimmie Another Chance Krang" is already in your sig. Just attach the [-IMG-][-/IMG-] text in the UserCP in the "Edit Signature" area.

you pic isn't working because it is 7pixels too high.
reduce it to under 400x200 and it should work just fine.
