am facing a trouble downloading save file

when i download a file he said it is a document file
what should i do

are you downloading from IE?? IE is known to change the file type.

if that is the case most people would say use firefox to download, but maxthon works great too.

Yea, get FireFox and then download it. You shouldn't have a problem after that.

what they are saying is that IE saves the files as the wrong type. -as an index.php file- it should be a .cbc(day 1) or .cbs (save)

if you d/l mozilla firefox(web browser) and use it, the problem will be corrected. here's a link for the d/l (it's FREE)

i agree wiht what elis said. But, if your like me and find firefox too secure get maxthon we browser and use that. it has all the same fetures but a little easier to use, and less of a hassel to download movies and games with. (atleast thats my expericance)

I download crash nitro kart and becuase i cant use the codebreaker v9 on my console so i convert it to .MAX but it said error or there is no save files.

Hi there. I'm a freshman in this forum, but for a start I would like to congratulate all the responsible people for this site, and forums. This is very usefull.I have a Codebreaker V9 ( and V8 also), and I've downloaded some savegame files from a section in the site, put them in my pen drive, and copied them to my sony memory card. Everithing very nice, until..... When I start a game from wich I have copied the savegame file, and it just won't recognise it, and says something like " no data found in memory card for this game, would you like to create??" I don´t understand. I would be most greatfull to anyone who help me in this matter... Thanks

Please check and see how it is saving on your Pen Drive. Make sure it isnt saving as index.php

Thanks Jarhead for your quick answer. I´m saving it in thre right way, its in cbc format, as it should, right? But still it doesn´t work. I´v tried with many diferent games and it always ends up the same way. The games don´t recognise the save game that I put in the memory card (the one I´v downloaded from this site)... This happens with both V8.0 and v. 9.0.
I´ll be waiting for another tip. Thanks

well Alpha you have to check the version of the game [Pal or Ntsc]

I've done it!! I can now use the savegames from this site in my memory card, and use them to load games. It was tricky but... IT WORKS!!! Any questions, be my guest... Thanks

...i'm having problems downloading stuff as well...i got my codebreaker when it was version 8.1..then stoped playing for a bit and now wanna cheat like mad..but can't dl and of the cheats...do i now have to pay a monthly fee to download cheats??? if so i'll send codebreaker back there disk..and say screw them...
