View Full Version : Obscene Nicknames Part Deux
This is a reminder to new (and old) members:
If you register using an obscene or profane nickname, you will be contacted by an administrator to change it. If you don't respond, or otherwise respond negatively, then that account will be banned permanently. This applies to both standard members and Premium members.
The reason behind this is we don't allow profanity on the forums. We have a censor in place to filter out profanity and obscenity, so nicknames are not excused.
Thank you for keeping CMGSCCC a family-friendly place. :)

What's the difference between an obscene nickname and a picture of an obscene gesture ?
My avatar is a gesture. Not everyone knows what it means. Someone with "c0ck" or "pu$$y" in their name is a little more obvious.

Yea, obsciene nicks, haven't seen them, we don't need 'em. And as far as the flickin off pic in Neo's avitar.thank god its gone, I have had the librarians at my school try to pin it on ME and get ME screwed over.

Look all he is saying is that You CAN NOT have Obscene nicknames. Any who break this rule will most likely be banned from the forums. Also I liked Neo's Avatar. I think it was good one that displayed his personality. But if people found it obscene, well tough. I think people should display what they feel aslong as it is not too how to say it rude.

You should consider changing yours to Beavis or Butthead.
Obscene words (including crude names for the human anatomy) and sexual acts are what I consider to be inappropriate. Cornholio is fine since it's a character from Beavis & Butthead.
